The Dean of the College of Science at the University of Al Maarif, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, accompanied by the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Mohammed Esmat Sinu, participated in an intensive workshop organized by Al Iraqia University, focusing on building and developing effective research groups and mechanisms for obtaining research grants from leading international institutions that support scientific research.
This participation came within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation among Iraqi universities and promoting openness to reputable international experiences in the field of scientific research. The workshop witnessed the participation of a distinguished group of academics and experts from inside and outside Iraq, including lecturers from the University of Salford, Manchester (United Kingdom).
The workshop aimed to develop the skills of researchers and faculty members in preparing competitive research projects, building effective research teams, thereby contributing to the advancement of research at Iraqi universities.
This participation reflects the University of Al Maarif’s and the College of Science’s commitment to supporting high quality scientific activities and enhancing their academic presence in local and international research forums.
