The College of Nursing at Al-Maarif University organized a field visit to (Ramadi Teaching Hospital) on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, as part of its efforts to enhance clinical training for students and link theoretical knowledge with practical application within healthcare institutions.
The visit was conducted under the supervision of several faculty members from the college. During the visit, students observed the (Neurology Ward) at the hospital, where they were introduced to a number of medical cases. They also conducted direct interviews with some patients to learn about the clinical symptoms associated with neurological disorders and the methods used to evaluate them from a nursing perspective.
The visit aimed to develop students’ clinical skills and enhance their ability to observe and conduct nursing assessments of medical cases. It also provided an opportunity for direct interaction with patients, which helps strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application while equipping students with the necessary field experience for their future professional careers.
