The College of Nursing at Al-Maarif University organized a field visit for second-year students to Ramadi Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, as part of efforts to enhance clinical training and connect theoretical knowledge with practical application in healthcare institutions.
The visit was supervised by several faculty members from the college. During the visit, students observed the neurological ward at the hospital and learned about several existing medical cases. They also conducted interviews with some patients to better understand the clinical symptoms associated with neurological disorders and the nursing methods used to assess these conditions.
The visit aimed to develop students’ clinical skills and strengthen their ability to observe and evaluate patients from a nursing perspective. It also provided them with the opportunity to interact directly with patients, helping bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical experience while equipping them with the essential field experience required for their future professional practice.
