As part of the activities of the Entrepreneurship Conference held at the University of Fallujah, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulhakim Al-Saadi participated in the opening session of the conference, where he delivered an important speech on the gap between university education and industry requirements. He emphasized the importance of linking scientific research with the industrial sector as a fundamental pillar for enhancing innovation and supporting economic development.
Dr. Al-Saadi pointed out that universities possess scientific knowledge and theoretical expertise, while industrial institutions require practical solutions and applications that meet the needs of the modern labor market. He stressed the necessity of sustaining partnerships between higher education institutions, the private sector, and government entities to transform research outcomes into applicable industrial products and services, thereby reducing the gap between graduates and the labor market and contributing to national economic growth.
He added that such seminars play a vital role in building effective communication bridges between researchers and industrial entrepreneurs, and in opening new horizons for students and researchers to exchange expertise and apply scientific ideas in real-world working environments.
