The College of Engineering Technologies – Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Techniques organized a workshop entitled “Modern Trends in Lifelong Learning in Cybersecurity,” as part of the college’s efforts to keep pace with rapid developments in technology and digital security.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of continuous learning in cybersecurity, present the latest global trends in digital skills development, and prepare students to face the growing technical challenges of the labor market.
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Sufyan Tayeh Faraj, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity Engineering Techniques, and was attended by a number of department students, along with the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Rabeea Al-Dahan, the Dean of the College of Science, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, and the Assistant Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Mr. Mundhir Nayef.
During the workshop, the college also emphasized its support for students participating in university clubs launched by the University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Abdul Razzaq Al-Saadi, including the Basmat Khair Club, recognizing their role in promoting volunteerism, developing students’ skills, and organizing scientific and community activities.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities implemented by the College of Engineering Technologies, reaffirming its commitment to building a supportive educational environment for lifelong learning and keeping up with the latest advancements in cybersecurity.
