The College of Pharmacy at Al-Maarif University organized an awareness campaign titled:
“Diabetes: Definition, Types, Symptoms, Prevention, and Treatment.”

The campaign aimed to educate pharmacy students about diabetes, including its types, causes, symptoms, and diagnostic methods. It also highlighted the role of medication, diet, and a healthy lifestyle in controlling the disease and preventing its complications. This activity is part of promoting health awareness among students and enhancing the pharmacist’s role in health education and community service, contributing to the preparation of knowledgeable pharmacy professionals capable of spreading correct health concepts in society.
