A scientific visit was carried out by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Al Maarif to the Distinguished Students’ High School in Anbar Governorate within the framework of the “Digital Citizen” initiative.

In line with the “Digital Citizen” initiative and in implementation of the University of Al Maarif’s vision to keep pace with modern technological developments, the Department of Computer Science organized this scientific visit as part of its efforts to enhance technological awareness and spread the culture of digital transformation within educational institutions.The visit was conducted under an initiative launched by the President of the University of Al Maarif, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Abdulrazzaq Al-Saadi, which aims to clarify the mechanisms for transforming traditional services into technology-based digital services, thereby contributing to improved institutional performance and facilitating educational and administrative procedures.The visit was supervised and followed up by the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, with the participation of a number of faculty members from the Department of Computer Science and a group of department students. A simplified explanation was presented on the concepts of digital transformation, the importance of modern technologies in developing the educational process, and the role of computer science in building a generation capable of meeting the requirements of the digital age.This visit comes as part of a series of scientific and community activities through which the University of Al Maarif seeks to strengthen communication with educational institutions and support outstanding students, in a manner that serves the educational process and contributes to preparing technologically aware youth with future-oriented skills.
