The Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science, University of Al Maarif, organized a training workshop entitled “Fundamentals of the Bologna System,” as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to develop academic performance and keep pace with modern educational systems adopted in higher education institutions.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of the Bologna System and its mechanisms of implementation, as well as to highlight its academic and organizational requirements in line with academic accreditation standards and curriculum development.
The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, and students of the department. A detailed explanation of the system’s key components was presented, followed by an open discussion session to answer questions related to its practical application within scientific departments.
This workshop comes within the framework of the College of Science’s commitment to enhancing awareness of modern educational systems and supporting academic staff, thereby contributing to the improvement of the educational process and the achievement of higher education objectives.
