Under the patronage of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies and in a cooperation with the Continuing Education center, the Alumni follow-up unit in the department of Computer Engineering Technologies held a specialized scientific workshop entitled ‘Open Data’. Which aimed to enhance the students and graduates knowledge regarding the concept of the ‘Open Data’ and its role in supporting contemporary administrative and technical decisions. The workshop witnessed a distinguished attendance of the following lectures: Senior Eng. Ahmed Tahreer Abdul Haleem / Ministry of Oil – North Oil Company Asst. Lect. Abdul Kareem Dawah Abbas / Department of Computer Engineering Technologies Asst. Lect. Mohammed Thakir Mahmood / Department of Computer Engineering Technologies The programme included an overview regarding the significance of ‘Open Data’ in institutions, as well as the mechanisms of utilizing it in developing degital solutions. Moreover, highlighting the scientific experiences in regard with this field.
