Under the patronage of the President of Al-Maarif University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Abdulrazzaq Al-Saadi, the university organized a special ceremony to honor its football team on the occasion of their well-deserved victory in the Iraqi Universities Championship, which featured participation from more than 66 universities and colleges across Iraq—an achievement that adds to the university’s distinguished record in both sports and academics.
The ceremony also included honoring the university’s Scout Group after securing first place at the level of Iraqi universities and colleges, in recognition of their outstanding efforts, discipline, and spirit of initiative demonstrated during their various activities and participations.
During the ceremony, the University President emphasized that these achievements reflect the level of care and attention the university provides to its students in various fields, reaffirming its continuous support for student activities that contribute to character building, leadership development, and fostering teamwork.
