On Monday, 2nd October 2023, the Department of Nursing at Al-Maarif University College held a workshop entitled “Youth and Electronic Games: Causes and Treatment.”
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lec. Raad Sabah Jameel, a lecturer in the Department of Nursing, in cooperation with the Continuing Learning Unit.
The workshop highlighted the dangers of excessive electronic game use and its psychological and social effects on individuals and society. It also addressed how to deal with gaming addiction, presenting key recommendations and practical methods to prevent and control the risks of electronic games, while promoting healthy and balanced use among youth.
