Under the auspices of the President of University of Al Maarif, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Abdulrazaq Al-Saadi, Dr. Mohammed Ismat Seno, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the university, participated in the First International Forum of Continuing Education Centers in Iraqi Universities, hosted by the Northern Technical University amidst a distinguished academic atmosphere.
The forum was held under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar, President of the Northern Technical University, with the aim of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging experiences among continuing education centers in Iraqi universities. It also sought to discuss effective mechanisms for developing training programs and lifelong learning in line with the requirements of sustainable development and the labor market.
The event featured a speech by Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamees, Director of the Research and Development Department and representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in which she affirmed the Ministry’s support for continuing education initiatives and their vital role in developing academic competencies and promoting community partnership.
Al Maarif University’s participation in this international event reflects its commitment to contributing effectively to the advancement of continuing education and to reinforcing its role in serving the community and developing human capacities in line with the latest academic trends.
