The University of Al-Maarif (UOA) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Global Academy for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence, with the aim of enhancing joint scientific research, advancing digital healthcare innovation, and expanding community-centered health initiatives. The agreement was signed in the presence of senior university leadership and academic representatives from various health and scientific disciplines.
The agreement focuses on research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the organization of international conferences, workshops, and accredited professional training programs, as well as the development of public awareness campaigns and community outreach activities that promote well-being and healthcare empowerment.
During the signing ceremony, the President of the University of Al-Maarif emphasized that this partnership will create new learning and professional development opportunities for students and faculty members. He noted that the collaboration supports the university’s strategic direction in enhancing digital health competencies in alignment with global technological advancements and emerging healthcare needs.
For his part, Prof. Mohammad Odeh, CEO of the Global Academy, stated that this partnership represents a strategic step toward strengthening international research networks in AI-driven digital health. He highlighted that the collaboration will contribute to advancing healthcare innovation and improving the regional and global positioning of both institutions.
The agreement includes the implementation of continuous professional development programs for students and practitioners in dentistry, nursing, medical laboratory sciences, biomedical engineering, and related medical fields. Additionally, specialized workshops, seminars, and academic forums in digital health and artificial intelligence will be offered throughout the year.
It is noteworthy that the Global Academy for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence organizes an annual international conference that serves as a leading platform for presenting the latest research findings and technological innovations in digital healthcare—fostering global knowledge exchange and sustainable healthcare transformation.
This partnership aligns with UOA’s commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), by advancing innovative healthcare solutions and strengthening collaborative academic networks.
