Several fourth-year students of the College of Nursing at University of Al-Maarif organized a visit to the Cardiac Resuscitation Unit at Ar-Ramadi Teaching Hospital, supervised by several lecturers of the department, to familiarize students with the duties of nursing work in the recovery unit and how to communicate with patients during the provision of proper care.
The visit included a practical application on how to communicate with patients during the implementation of the nursing procedures, as well as familiarizing them with the ethics of practising the profession and the rights and duties of patients.
At the end of the visit, the supervising lecturers expressed their gratitude to the hospital administration, the nursing affairs department and the officials of the recovery unit of the medical and nursing team for their efforts in providing clinical information and expertise.
