Al-Maarif University College concluded several memorandums of understanding with Iranian universities during the activities of the Science Week between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq Abd Al-Rahman has signed the contracts on behalf of the Dean of the College, in the presence of the Manager of Private Education Prof. Dr. Faris Mahdi Alwan.
The memorandums of understanding included several Iranian universities, Kharazmi University, Tehran, University of Ilam, Tarbiat Modares University, University of Technical and Vocational University, and Bu-Ali Sina University.
Several important topics of cooperation were discussed, including research opportunities, joint supervision, exchange of students between universities, mutual fellowships in various specializations, cultural, artistic, and sports programs, joint research projects, and benefits from laboratory services and logistical equipment at the universities of the two countries.
The memorandums included scientific cooperation in the field of training and the exchange of scientific consultations related to curricula. it was also agreed to form a committee from both countries to coordinate, follow up, and facilitate implementation procedures.
