As part of the awareness activities organized by the College of Pharmacy at Al-Maarif University, an educational activity titled “Drug Overdose: How to Prevent It and Recognize Its Symptoms” was conducted under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Abeer Abdullah Hamed from the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Clinical Pharmacy.
The activity involved fifth-year students distributing awareness brochures aimed at educating the community about the risks of drug overdose and the proper methods of prevention, including adherence to prescribed dosages and careful reading of medication leaflets. It also highlighted the symptoms and health complications that may result from excessive drug intake.
