The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Climate Change and Its Consequences” on Wednesday, 25-2-2026, in Hall M316 at the Medical Building.
The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Samira Finjan and Lecturer Dr. Doaa Hisham. The lectures addressed major environmental challenges related to climate change and their health and societal impacts, highlighting the role of women in environmental awareness and promoting behaviors that support climate protection.
The event also included a scientific workshop titled “Sustainable Development and Its Relationship to Women and Climate,” presented by Dr. Doaa Hisham. The workshop aimed to spread sustainability concepts and enhance awareness of women’s role in supporting environmental and developmental initiatives.
This activity comes as part of the college’s efforts to support scientific and awareness programs and to promote understanding of environmental issues with health and social dimensions.
