The Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science, Al-Maarif University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized scientific seminar entitled “DNA Examination in Forensic Evidence – Scientific Foundations and Practical Applications,” as part of the scientific activities aimed at enhancing academic and practical knowledge.
The seminar included the delivery of valuable scientific lectures presented by:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Harith Kamel Baniya from the University of Anbar / College of Education for Pure Sciences / Department of Life Sciences.
- Assistant Lecturer Abdulssalam Najm Mohammed from Al-Maarif University / College of Science / Department of Forensic Evidence Sciences.
The seminar addressed the theoretical and practical aspects of DNA analysis and its pivotal role in the field of forensic evidence, highlighting the latest scientific methods and practical applications adopted in this field.
The event was held in the presence of the Deanery of the College of Science, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, and Anbar Provincial Council Member Mr. Khalid Ali Atiyah Zuba’a Al-Karboli, in addition to a number of faculty members and students, within an atmosphere of productive scientific interaction and constructive discussions reflecting the importance of the topic and its impact on developing scientific and research capabilities.
