As part of strengthening academic and institutional cooperation between Al-Maarif University and the Middle Technical University, the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Raed Ubaid Al-Subhani, accompanied by the Assistant Dean and the Coordinator of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, visited the College of Health and Medical Technologies at the Middle Technical University. The delegation met with the Dean of the college, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adnan Hussein Mahmoud, on Monday, January 19, 2026.
During the meeting, several important academic and scientific topics were discussed, most notably the signing of a scientific cooperation memorandum between the two colleges. The memorandum stipulates joint cooperation in academic, scientific, cultural, and research programs and disciplines, in addition to organizing educational and training programs and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest.
The agreement also includes cooperation in developing curricula, exchanging academic perspectives on assessment examinations and mechanisms for their preparation and updating in line with quality assurance and academic accreditation requirements. Furthermore, it covers organizing courses, workshops, and scientific seminars, exchanging scientific visits, and training staff and specialists to enhance academic and professional performance.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties expressed their aspiration to strengthen fruitful and sustainable cooperation that serves the educational and scientific process in Iraq and contributes to improving the quality of higher education outcomes.
