Within the framework of supporting international academic cooperation, Al-Maarif University hosted the meeting of the Higher Committee for the implementation of the “British Academic Bridge” initiative, attended by the presidents of the universities involved in the initiative.
The session was opened with a speech by the Advisor of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hassan, in which he emphasized the importance of the initiative in strengthening academic partnerships and developing the higher education environment.
This was followed by a speech from the President of Al-Maarif University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Abdul Razzaq, who welcomed the visiting delegation and praised the significance of the initiative and its role in elevating the academic and institutional standards of Iraqi universities.
The meeting was attended by the presidents of Baghdad University, Al-Mustansiriya University, University of Mosul, University of Kufa, University of Babylon, Thi-Qar University, Middle Technical University, Northern Technical University, Al-Mustaqbal Private University, and Al-Shaab Private University.
