Computer Science Department Hosts Financial-Fraud Awareness Seminar with QiCard
The Department of Computer Science at the College of Science organized an awareness seminar on financial fraud in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and QiCard, under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, Dean of the College. Titled “Financial Fraud and Methods of Prevention,” the seminar aimed to educate students about electronic financial fraud, its modern techniques, and preventive measures, especially with the growth of digital transactions. QiCard representatives discussed common fraud types, early-detection methods, and the role of fintech in financial security. The seminar featured interactive discussions, reinforcing the importance of financial and technological awareness within the university community.
