University of Al Maarif Holds a Training Workshop

As part of Al Maarif University’s efforts to enhance the quality of scientific research and develop researchers’ skills, the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center and the College of Sciences, organized an advanced training workshop entitled:
Methods for Writing Scientific Research According to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Standards and Enhancing Reference Citations in Global Databases.”
The workshop was held on Saturday, December 7, 2025, with the participation of a group of faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students.
The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Sciences, and Asst. Lect. Alaa Hamed Mohammed from the Department of Quality Assurance. The lecture addressed methodologies for preparing research aligned with the requirements of the Sustainable Development Goals in all their dimensions, methods for improving the quality of research outputs, and strategies for increasing the visibility of studies in international journals and raising citation rates.
This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific activities carried out by the university in support of research and academic development, enhancing the university’s presence in global rankings, and fostering an advanced research environment capable of producing knowledge with both local and international impact.
