A joint research team from the Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Maarif University—represented by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Khalil Fatikhan—in collaboration with researchers from the College of Engineering at the University of Anbar, has achieved a new scientific accomplishment by publishing their research in the Bulletin of Engineering Geology and the Environment, one of the reputable Q1-ranked scientific journals indexed in global databases such as Scopus and Clarivate.
The research was published under the title:
“Wind erosion control for aeolian deposits using microbial-induced carbonate precipitation.”
This achievement comes as part of Al-Maarif University’s commitment to promoting a culture of scientific research, contributing to knowledge production through publishing high-impact studies, and strengthening cooperation with local and international academic and research institutions.
