Under the supervision of Dr. Abd Al-Salam Qahtan, Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, third-year students delivered a scientific activity titled “COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)”.
Presenters: Doha Ammar and Nabaa Yasser (third-year students).
The session explained the causes of COPD, diagnostic methods, risk factors, and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options, in addition to the pharmacist’s role in patient education and strategies to slow disease progression.
This activity reflects the college’s commitment to strengthening students’ practical training and research skills and encouraging an integrated clinical and therapeutic understanding of common diseases.
