Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at University of Al Maarif, the Department of Business Administration, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education and the Directorate of Drug Control in Al-Anbar Governorate, organized on Wednesday, November 6, 2025, a scientific symposium entitled:
“Drugs in Al-Anbar Governorate: Causes and Solutions”
This symposium comes within the college’s efforts to raise community awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, examine its causes, and explore ways to reduce its spread.
The symposium was presented by:
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Saadi Majeed Ashour – Head of the Department of Business Administration
• Major Namir Sami Anad – Director of the Rehabilitation Center
• Mr. Marwan Mohammed Abdullah – Head of the Public Relations and Media Division
The symposium witnessed notable attendance from faculty members and students. It included valuable discussions on the phenomenon, its causes, and methods to address and limit its spread within society.
