The University of Al-Maarif (UOA), through the Committee for Activities and Community Service, and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs and the University Health Services Unit, organized a blood donation campaign in coordination with the Blood Bank Directorate of the Ministry of Health.
The campaign witnessed wide participation from students, faculty members, and administrative staff, who voluntarily donated blood in support of national efforts to supply hospitals and medical centers with necessary blood units. This initiative reflects the university’s firm belief in the value of humanitarian service, community solidarity, and social responsibility.
The strong turnout demonstrated the spirit of volunteerism, compassion, and collective awareness among members of the university community. It also emphasized the importance of partnership between academic institutions and national health agencies in promoting a healthier and more resilient society.
This campaign is part of the University of Al-Maarif’s annual community engagement plan, which aims to encourage volunteer service, strengthen civic responsibility, and support public health initiatives in alignment with:
- SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being
- SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
