The University of Al-Maarif (UOA) welcomed a representative from the Physical Therapy Sector Committee at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic cooperation with higher education institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the visit, a meeting was held with university leadership and academic representatives from the College of Allied Medical Sciences and the Department of Physical Therapy. The discussion focused on enhancing academic coordination, supporting Egyptian students enrolled in the Physical Therapy program, and reviewing opportunities for collaboration in curriculum development, training, and professional qualification.
Following the meeting, the guest toured the Physical Therapy Department, where they were introduced to the modern laboratories, clinical training facilities, and educational resources available to students. They expressed appreciation for the department’s infrastructure, academic environment, and the level of support provided to students.
The visit also included an open dialogue session with Egyptian students, during which:
- Procedures for degree equivalency in Egypt were clarified,
- Requirements for obtaining professional practice licensing were explained,
- And students’ questions regarding study pathways and future career opportunities were addressed.
This visit reflects the University of Al-Maarif’s commitment to:
