Context

The University of Al-Maarif is strategically located between Iraq’s capital, Baghdad, and the city of Ramadi, within a Mediterranean climate zone. The campus spans a total area of 185,000 m², offering a suburban environment conducive to academic and personal growth. Academic activities occupy approximately 100,000 m² of this space, while the main campus buildings cover a footprint of around 22,476 m².

The university currently serves 5,828 students, both part-time and full-time. Its academic and administrative workforce comprises 646 staff members. Financially, the university operates with an annual budget of approximately $31,664,714, supporting its educational, research, and development efforts.
