UOA Sponsored and Participated in the International Scientific Conference for Environment and Sustainability at University of Anbar |
On Wednesday, 29 November 2025, Al-Maarif University sponsored and participated in the International Scientific Conference on Environment and Sustainability, organized by the Colleges of Science and Applied Sciences in cooperation with Al-Maarif University College at the University of Anbar. The conference aimed to promote the concept of environmental sustainability within Iraqi universities, government departments, and institutions, and to discuss future strategies for achieving a clean and sustainable environment. Specialists from Iraq and abroad took part in the event. The conference also featured presentations on Al-Maarif University College’s Strategy 2025 and the Smart City Vision 2030. |

Scientific Seminar on Climate Change and Its Relationship to Women |
The College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, organized a scientific seminar titled “Climate Change and Its Consequences” on 25-2-2026. The seminar discussed environmental challenges, their health and social impacts, and highlighted women’s role in climate awareness. A workshop on sustainable development and its link to women and climate was also held, promoting sustainability concepts and environmental responsibility. The event reflects the college’s commitment to raising awareness of environmental issues with health and community dimensions. |
