The Center for Psychological Counseling and Support Services (CPCS) at the University of Al-Maarif (UOA)

The Center for Psychological Counseling and Support Services (CPCS) at the University of Al-Maarif (UOA) provides comprehensive psychological counseling, emotional support, and mental health care for students and staff across the university. The center is staffed by qualified clinical psychologists and academic specialists who are trained in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and student support strategies.

Through confidential one-to-one counseling sessions, psychological assessments, support groups, and preventive health awareness workshops, the Center works to help students cope with stress, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, academic pressures, and personal challenges. In addition, the CPCS conducts campus-wide campaigns promoting resilience, positive coping, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.

The Center’s services are accessible to all students free of charge and prioritize privacy, respect, and inclusiveness. By integrating mental health support into student life and campus culture, the University of Al-Maarif reinforces its commitment to creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

These efforts directly align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), ensuring that mental health is recognized as a fundamental pillar of academic success, personal development, and community well-being within the university.
