Al-Maarif University College was established in 1993 in Al-Anbar province according to the private universities and colleges’ law No. (13) in 1996, the recognition was documented later in the book number P.O. box 11/4042. The college is the first private college in Al-Anbar province, and the sixth private college in Iraq. The college graduated more than twenty thousand students. The college works under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, and it is accredited by international universities.
The curricula approved by the college are based on the public universities’ curricula. The college adopts the courses and annual system, well as the university calendar based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in terms of the start and end of the academic year.
Al-Maarif University College has earned a prestigious scientific reputation due to the tireless provided efforts since its founding. This has been characterized by the sincerity in the educational process and the College’s adherence to the outline of scientific traditions related to great scientific and civilizational achievement.
