We at Al-maarif University College believe that SDG 13 is very vital. In its role, Al-maarif University aims to raise attention and support for SDG 13 through its academic programs, research, and extension activities. The college also invests in earth and environmental science that design, formulate and implement academic programs, course work, and campus-based projects in area of environment and sustainability along with another notable department of civil engineering and computer science.

At Al-maarif University College we recognize the critical role that universities play in achieving sustainable development goals to create a brighter future for all. We embed the sustainable development goals in all we do in teaching, research, engagement, and beyond the goals, aligning with our deeply held values around, environmental responsibility, diversity and inclusion, and social justice. Coursework in Environmental Studies provides a foundation for environment and sustainability including ‘climate action’ to all students in their study. Moreover, the college offers several campus-based awareness programs, plantations, and green areas.
