On Saturday, 7th October 2023, the Science Week between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran was launched with the participation of sixty universities and institutions from the two countries.
Al-Maarif University College has participated headed by Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq Abd Al-Rahman, Deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Khalaf, the Manager of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation.
Undersecretary for Scientific Research Dr. Haider Abd Dahid, who led the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the presence of governmental and private universities, said that the Science Week between the two countries summarizes the level of understanding and coordination resulting from the agreement between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the perfection of the universities of the two countries in the production of scientific research and the global competition in important classifications makes them worthy of achieving positions referred to in sober academic warehouses and platforms and opens up more spaces for participation and collaboration in many areas and understandings on scientific research, development programs and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razaq Abd Al-Rahman held several meetings with Iranian universities through concluding agreements and twinning programs on scientific research, exchange of students, development programs, training and cooperation with Al-Maarif University College and achieving the highest level of relations with effective impact on cultural exchange and scientific and academic experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
