Health Awareness Campaign: Distribution of the Guide \u201cYour Medication in Ramadan\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A health awareness campaign was carried out through the distribution of an educational guide titled \u201cYour Medication in Ramadan\u201d<\/strong>, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Abeer Abdullah Al-Ani<\/strong>, with the aim of promoting health awareness among fasting patients regarding the safe use of medications during the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The campaign included distributing the guide at Al-Maaref University<\/strong> and in several areas across the city of Ramadi<\/strong>, including the University area, Al-Warar area (Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan Mosque<\/em>), Al-Khalidiyah area, and Al-Dhubat neighborhood (Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi Mosque<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guide provided simplified medical instructions to help patients manage medication schedules for chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid disorders, blood thinners, cholesterol medications, and stomach medications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also addressed the religious aspects related to what breaks the fast and what does not<\/strong> in relation to medications and medical procedures, while correcting some common misconceptions associated with taking medications during fasting. This helps achieve a balance between medication safety and the proper observance of religious practices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several students participated in implementing the campaign and distributing the guide, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This initiative comes as part of the College of Pharmacy\u2019s efforts to enhance public health awareness in the community and serve patients<\/strong> by providing reliable pharmaceutical information that promotes the safe use of medications during the holy month of Ramadan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
