Dr. Marwan Ibrahim Al-Zubaidi, Asst. Lect. Dr. Abeer Abdullah Al-Ani, Asst. Lect. Dr. Ammar Yasser Ahmed, Asst. Lect. Dr. Hamid Adnan, and Asst. Lect. Dr. Omar Jasim. The event witnessed active participation and organization by fourth- and fifth-year pharmacy students, reflecting an effective integration of academic knowledge with practical application. The workshop included interactive explanations of insulin mechanisms using anatomical models, hands-on training on blood glucose monitoring devices, and demonstrations of modern injection techniques such as NovoPen. Participants also received training in patient assessment and appropriate pharmaceutical counseling. Additionally, the workshop emphasized health awareness through guidance on diabetic foot care, management of hypoglycemic episodes, balanced nutrition principles, and healthy lifestyle practices. These topics were delivered through presentations, practical activities, and the distribution of educational brochures and scientific posters prepared by the students. This activity is part of a series of student initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical and communication skills, preparing competent pharmacists capable of providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, and contributing to community health awareness.
