Under the patronage of the Presidency of the University of Al Maarif, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmood Abdulrazzak Al-Saadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy,
the Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Abdul-Salam Qahtan, participated along with a delegation of faculty members and students from the college, namely:
\u2022 Prof. Dr. Maysaa Ali Abdul-Khaleq
\u2022 Asst. Lect. Ammar Yasser Ahmed
\u2022 Rusal Qasim Mohammed
\u2022 Sumaya Basel
in the 13th Medical Scientific Conference of the Anbar Health Directorate, in cooperation with the medical colleges of the Universities of Anbar and Fallujah, and in coordination with the Syndicates of Physicians, Dentists, and Pharmacists. The conference was held from December 6\u20137, 2025, in the Al-Nasr and Al-Shuhada Halls at the headquarters of the Anbar Health Directorate.
The participants presented scientific posters covering the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Comparative analysis of the roles of PBRM1 and SETD2 genes in the pathogenesis and progression of renal cell carcinoma: An analytical review<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Fabrication and characterization of a novel magnetic nanocomposite based on chitosan hydrogel modified with mesoporous silica and copper-based MOF as an effective and antibacterial adsorbent for the removal of methylene blue from water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Targeted cancer treatment using MUC1 aptamer-conjugated chitosan nanoparticles to overcome multidrug resistance.
    This scientific participation reflects the College of Pharmacy\u2019s commitment at the University of Al Maarif to supporting and encouraging its researchers and students to take part in scientific conferences, enhance their research skills, and remain open to the latest developments in pharmacy and medical sciences.
    It also reaffirms the college\u2019s dedication to promoting high-quality scientific research and supporting young talents, contributing to the advancement of academic and scientific standards.
