Digital Citizenship Awareness Brochure \u2013 Building a Safer, Responsible Online Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies\u2019 efforts to enhance digital awareness and promote responsible use of technology, the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies produced an awareness brochure<\/strong> on the concept of the digital citizen<\/strong> and their role in protecting society and creating a secure digital environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brochure highlighted the importance of responsible behavior in cyberspace, strengthening cybersecurity<\/strong> as the first line of defense to protect digital identity and reduce electronic threats. It also raised awareness of users\u2019 rights and responsibilities<\/strong> in the digital environment and the role of universities in empowering students with safe-technology skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The college affirmed that digital citizenship is not merely using technology; it is awareness, responsibility, and protection<\/strong> of oneself and society\u2014calling on all students and staff to adopt mindful digital conduct that aligns with university values and sustains digital security<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
