On Saturday, 20th January 2024, the meeting of the Industrial Advisory Board was held in the presence of several of the academic staff from the college, and representatives from the public and private sectors at Al-Maarif University College .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deputy Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mahmood Abd Al-Razzaq Abd Al-Rahman commenced the meeting by welcoming all members and confirming that Al-Maarif University College was the first to establish the board, in accordance with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research directives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Dean stressed the necessity of adopting such boards, which are considered the supporting foundations for the scientific and industrial renaissance in the country which the college must adopt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several important topics were discussed during the meeting, including developing the capabilities of graduates from the college, expanding their job prospects in the labor market, increasing theoretical and practical training for students, and enabling them to work in the private and public sectors, establishing a technological incubator at the college in cooperation with the General Company for Glass and Ceramics to support innovators and patent holders, including professors and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Deputy Dean expressed his thanks and appreciation to all members of the board for their attendance and serious discussions that contributed to the maturity of the decisions and recommendations that were taken at the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting came according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which include the formation of industrial advisory fields in private colleges<\/p>\n\n\n\n
