As Iraq continues to face challenges related to <strong data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"958\">increasing energy demand, dependence on fossil fuels, limited energy diversification, and environmental pressures<\/strong>, the role of the academic sector in shaping sustainable energy solutions has become increasingly critical. Recognizing these realities, UOA has positioned itself as a <strong data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1175\">regional contributor in clean energy research<\/strong> by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, applied research, and problem-solving approaches tailored to local and national needs.<\/p><p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1867\">Clean energy research at UOA brings together expertise from the <strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1561\">Faculty of Engineering and Medical Devices Technologies, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, the Sustainability and Global Ranking Unit<\/strong>, and several applied research laboratories. The university\u2019s research focuses on <strong data-start=\"1643\" data-end=\"1866\">solar energy systems, energy-efficient infrastructure, smart building technologies, low-power embedded systems, heat management, waste-to-energy solutions, and public awareness programs on sustainable energy consumption<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1869\" data-end=\"2278\">UOA\u2019s approach emphasizes the integration of research, education, and community engagement.
