In alignment with <strong>SDG 17.4.2<\/strong>, which calls for the establishment of <em>dedicated degree or elective courses focusing on sustainability and the SDGs<\/em>, UOA has strategically restructured its academic programs to embed sustainability as a cross-cutting theme across all disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The university recognizes that addressing Iraq\u2019s pressing socio-economic and environmental challenges requires an education system that not only imparts knowledge but also cultivates <em>critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and ethical leaders<\/em> equipped to contribute to national reconstruction and sustainable growth. By offering <strong>full-degree programs and elective courses centered on sustainability and SDG education<\/strong>, the University of Al Maarif demonstrates its leadership in transforming higher education into a driver of sustainable development, peace, and resilience in post-conflict Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.
