These initiatives are led through coordinated efforts among the <strong data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"567\">College of Pharmacy, College of Nursing, College of Medical Laboratory Sciences, and the Department of Physiotherapy<\/strong>, in partnership with local health directorates, hospitals, NGOs, and community service organizations.<\/p><p data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"1099\">UOA organizes <strong data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"799\">medical outreach days, awareness campaigns, health screening activities, and student-led volunteering programs<\/strong> that provide free preventive and educational services to schools, neighborhoods, and public institutions across Al-Anbar Governorate. These efforts strengthen the university\u2019s role in supporting public health improvement and enhancing access to health education and services for the wider community.<\/p><p data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1143\">Through these initiatives, the university:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1497\"><li data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1270\"><p data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1270\">Raises awareness on key public health topics such as hygiene, chronic disease prevention, mental health, and maternal care<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1271\" data-end=\"1367\"><p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1367\">Encourages physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits through sports and wellness events<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1368\" data-end=\"1497\"><p data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1497\">Provides free health consultations, basic health checks, and informational sessions delivered by trained faculty and students<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1600\">All programs are aligned with <strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1567\">SDG 3 \u2013 Good Health and Well-being<\/strong>, and contribute additionally to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1885\"><li data-start=\"1601\" data-end=\"1691\"><p data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1691\"><strong data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1632\">SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education<\/strong> through experiential learning and community-based training<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1692\" data-end=\"1773\"><p data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1773\"><strong data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1727\">SDG 10 \u2013 Reduced Inequalities<\/strong> by serving underserved and remote communities<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1885\"><p data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"1885\"><strong data-start=\"1776\" data-end=\"1815\">SDG 17 \u2013 Partnerships for the Goals<\/strong> through cooperation with governmental and private health institutions<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"2128\">Through its sustained community outreach and health education initiatives, the University of Al-Maarif reaffirms its commitment to <strong data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2109\">social responsibility, public health advancement, and improving overall quality of life<\/strong> within the The initiative was carried out as part of the university\u2019s community service activities with the participation of the college\u2019s deanery, faculty members, and students, reflecting the institution\u2019s commitment to supporting environmental initiatives and strengthening social responsibility. Sheikh Al-Hiti praised the initiative and its positive humanitarian and environmental values. At the end of the visit, he honored the Dean of the College in appreciation of these constructive
