Health-related research at UOA spans multiple academic fields, including <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"638\">medical laboratory sciences, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, public health, sports sciences, psychology, and digital health applications<\/strong>, reflecting an integrated approach to improving individual and community well-being across the region.<\/p><p data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"1364\">UOA systematically <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"796\">maps, documents, and evaluates<\/strong> its research outputs in alignment with the <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"888\">United Nations Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>. The Sustainability and Global Ranking Unit maintains a continuously updated research database that records all publications addressing major health priorities such as <strong data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1213\">chronic disease prevention, mental health support, healthy aging, community health promotion, rehabilitation sciences, and medical technology innovation<\/strong>. These publications include <strong data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1363\">peer-reviewed journal articles, conference proceedings, funded research projects, and applied community-based studies<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1833\">The university\u2019s research strategy promotes <strong data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1445\">multidisciplinary collaboration<\/strong>, encouraging cooperation across faculties and research centers, as well as partnerships with hospitals, governmental health directorates, NGOs, and international academic institutions. This approach ensures that UOA\u2019s research efforts go beyond theoretical contributions to create <strong data-start=\"1727\" data-end=\"1766\">practical, evidence-based solutions<\/strong> that benefit local communities and enhance public health services.<\/p><p data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2153\">By prioritizing research quality, societal relevance, and real-world application, the University of Al-Maarif positions itself as a <strong data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2049\">regional contributor to scientific advancement and health system strengthening<\/strong>. These research efforts directly advance <strong data-start=\"2091\" data-end=\"2100\">SDG 3<\/strong>, while also supporting interconnected goals such as:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2155\" institutions<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2685\">Through this ongoing commitment, UOA continues to play a meaningful role in improving health outcomes, expanding medical knowledge, and promoting sustainable development within Iraq and the wider
